Alright, thanks. I still wanna at least play it, so I'll probably check it out.
I like how it's presented, though. Like the subtle hints in the environment that let you know you're being stalked if you can find them.
Like the vents oozing whenever the Xenomorph is lurking in the vents above you like the asshole it is.
Aesome, I love games with subtle hints and shit. I'm definitely gonna check it out now
The crafting system in the game is actually pretty extensive too, so there's that. For instance, you can craft noisemakers to distract the Xenemorph.
However since the Xenomorph's AI is pretty much completely dynamic, using too many noisemakers will make it smarten up, and instead of going straight for the noisemaker, it will try and figure out where it was thrown from so it can fuck a hole in your head.
Shit, this game just seems like it's getting better and better.
On top of that, everything's handled in real time, which is dope since you never feel like you're getting taken from the game to stare at some menus. Made even better considering how damn atmospheric the game is.
But that also means that at any moment, whether you're about to save your game [which you have to do, manually], crafting shit, staring into a terminal, you can still be attacked and killed. It's cool, but it can still be understandably frustrating.
I'm not a fan of not getting a break when the game is paused, but in this case, it adds to the realism, so I can let it slide. This game sounds so worth it.
Is, and I get what people mean by saying it's repetitive. I mean, it is, but it has to be. It's really claustrophobic and you're constantly being hunted along with any NPCs that may be in the area. Not really much else you can do on an abandoned space station other than try to survive.
BUT HEY, IF YA LIKE READIN', THERE'S PLENTY OF THAT BULLSHIT TOO.
FUCK YEAH, READING AND SHIT.
YEAH FUCKIN' AUDIO LOGS
I dont mind it tho
