I think a lethal, incurable, contagious, visually non-detectable disease is different than someone's ethnicity... I mean, I get what you're trying to do, but this is still hyperbole to a gross extent.
I am in agreement with anon poster (fuck me, right?); although I don't think their ID needs to be visible for all to see. Until we can cure these diseases, people should have a way of knowing if their current sexual partner is carrying it or not. I would not be opposed to legislation saying that people who get positively diagnosed with HIV (or any other non-curable contagious disease) must have their license updated saying that they had it. That way it is still discreet, not a fucking star on your chest, and any sexual partner and simply ask to look at it beforehand.
This is of course, I serious post in response to your not-so-serious one and I'm sure my attempt at trying to start some kind of dialog will be met with down votes and insults... Go for it.

well there's the whole test you can have your partner do, and you can easily ask them to be tested before hand and get the doctor to confirm, especially considering I'm pretty sure it's illegal to not share that info if asked (at least HIV for sure) and that way it can't be hidden from a future sexual partner.
Plus anyone unwilling to be tested would just be turned down, nobody in their right mind would forget the test for the sake of love. My gf said she loves and trusts me 100% but still asked I get tested and I respect a person's right to ask. Never understood the offense with being asked, some people just don't know they might have something bad.

Yes, I agree, and that is an alright option if you are in a monogamous committed relationship; however not everyone is in one and not everyone wants to be in one. Sometimes people just want a fling, which is when the ID saying if your a positive or not comes in. I really don't think that going "Hey, babe, wanna come back to my place... after a quick stop at the clinic so we can both get tested?" is really going to pull in the women. Whereas having it on an ID takes 5 seconds and doesn't involving going out of your way.

I have also been asked if I had any STDs, apparently I had a reputation of having a lot of girlfriends (at this time I'd only ever had 2 girlfriends and slept with 1 of them...).
So I told her the truth etc, then I asked her... She went full retard mode and got all defensive, as if I was returning an insult to her.
I asked her only because she asked me, it made me think her ex or somebody hadn't told her about an STD and she contracted it.
But yeah that was actually the last time I saw her.
I've spoken to people on FJ about it before, and most of them say they'd refuse to get tested if a partner asked them. Which doesn't make sense to me, but this is probably why so many of them are virgins into their 20s.

The best way to meet a girl is thru connections. You know, like a friend of a friend. Another way to meet a girl is to go to a social event. A party, club, or a meeting of sort. Now, meeting a girl on a street i'm not too sure about. You can do it, open the convo with like "what time is it?" or "Do you know how to get (Insert area here). Once she responds that is your chance. Still some of my female friends say they hate gettin hit on in public. Could be just a nyc thing though. But lastly, be confident. Keep trying, don't give up. You can do it lil' nigga.
