but that is not a Canadian coin, they both have a picture the queen on them and are roughly the same shape the fact is one is a ten pence and the other is a cent this one is a ten PENCE

haha kk will gimp basically be set up the same as that site? and how would i do the outline on gimp?

It'll be different but it's fairly intuitive. Use the text tool, type something in white Impact. Make a new layer, drag it just underneath the text layer. Right click the text layer in the layers box, click "Alpha to selection". Click on your new layer below to make sure it's selected. Go to the select menu, click on "Grow..." and type in a value between 2-5 pixels depending on the size of your text. If all goes well, it should look like above. :)
