OMG i was hoping someone felt the same way. Dont get me wrong im enjoying the game, combat is somewhat good, but im too used to character action and having my dodge animation cancel my attack, so im getting hit by dumb things all the time. But fk me that action button. I wanna pick up the item, no not jump, no. no. no. no. FINALLY.

Heavenly jewel change and Douluo Dalu are both by Tang San.Though I still Say Er' Gen is the best. ISSTH, Beseech the Devil, Xian Ni, A thought through Eternity. those 4 are so god damn good. Xian Ni is my favorite though. Wang Lin is a fantastic Vindictive Soul Eating Bastard. it is great and I cant wait for the Wuxia World translations to catch up with the original translation so that all the translations will speed up. and I did actually read BTTH. its pretty much the same ass all the other stories by that same author. like Wu Dong Qian Kun. ATG is really good. absolutely has the best first 40 chapters ever made, but its not as good after chapter 400 or so. I still read it, but only because i really want to see where its going.

Will check those other tree by Er' Gen. I have been doing almost nothing but reading wuxia and xianxia since easter, and I've read all the long-running ones it seems. Currently reading Long Live Summons and it's... not amazing so far. Biggest problem I have is that something is always happening, constant combat and there is rarely any break anymore.

I did read the novel. I didn't read the manga, just saw a few snippets. Coiling Dragons is the chinese Xianxia everyone shits on for being terribly written. which it is, but its still a good ride despite the ending sucking adn the fact that the author actually forgets his own plot points. so so many plot points and characters just dropped into oblivion what happened to granpa dohearing's secret stash that they hypes up, what happened to that Necromancer friend and his desciple. what happened to that brother and sister who hung out with linely right before he became a demi god. and dozens more. . Douluo Dalu is top tier. Tang San the author can do no wrong, SYWZ is pretty fucking baller too. TDG was good at the start, but i had to stop reading once he got to the bigger world and joined that sect. it felt like they were trivializing their own power levels and it was annoying even though he mentioned that the power levels at the start were trivial himself, it didn't make it much better. Tate no Yuusha was so god damn good, I wish there was more of it to read. Yoraikun picks some good novels to translate. if you havn't read sevens yet, i recomend it. I never heard of doupo cangqiong or i know it by a different name so i can't say anything about it. i don't like moonlight sculptor but i heard its great. I just don't like VR stories in general so i guess I am biased. re:monster is great. if you want something with a similar story, but actually updates at regular intervals I suggest Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka? KUMOKO CHAN KAWAIIIIII , and Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken. both those stories are great. i would say the spider one is better though since that one just has a brilliant author who plays with tropes and fucks around with the readers and tricks them into thinking that its being cliche when it is not. Overloard is ok. I never understood why it has so much hype, but the novel got licensed and no one translates it anymore so its a dead end of a novel at this point.

Those were the ones I knew of that has been made into manga, I would only recommend douluo dalu, doupo cangqiong (battle through the heavens) and TDG. Moonlight sculptor starts out great i think, but turns bad after he creates a city and the ending becomes pretty much obvious. I stopped reading overlord when Ainz became excessively cruel and tortured good people in horrible ways. Will check into Kumo Desu ka, slime and everything from Tang San, I read Skyfire Avenue from him as well and like it so far. I would recommend I Shal Seal The Heavens and Against The Gods heavily if you haven't read them, and also Heavenly Jewel Change and Martial God Azura. All of them are pretty similar, especially ATG and MGA. The thing I kinda hate in everything except MT and possibly TDG is harem (essentially i hate badly written harem, and tolerate well written ones), so it's hard to find things to read. That's why i love CD-autor and Tang San
