A. Cultures naturally change. Even faster when it's introduced to other cultures, especially now-a-days due to internet connections and fast travel around the world. I'm not defending SJW's, as that would just be silly. They're misguided extremists who are as misguided as extremist groups of Christianity, Islam, or any extreme political/spiritual party. That being said, In their attempt to change our cultures, isn't a new thing to be disgusted by. People resist changes due to many reasons. Off the top of my head, I'd say the first few reasons would be a lack of knowledge/fear, A hatred of an individual who supports this movement and this hatred blocks the ability to be objective, or because they themselves are extremists who believe people need to act in a different way.

B. Weaboos may attempt to change Japanese culture to make them feel like home due to other reasons. Most likely the localization of certain shows askews the true Japanese cultures, or their social ineptitude is so severe, they can't transition cultures at all. The inability to transition cultures may have two forms of culture-shock. The complete rejection of it, and wallowing in self pitty, or a reject of the culture and instead favoring the romanticized version, to a form of insanity.

C. The initial comment was out of frustration from idiots mixed with some spontaneous meanness due to back pain, ankle pain, and a lack of patience for more irritants.

A. Yes cultures naturally change, however simply attempting to force change through shame will not yield any long-term results, because you're just sowing the seeds of dissent. This is applicable to many former colony countries. Granted, it's also worth noting that Japan has a problem with change because of its generally xenophobic culture. However, it is absolutely silly also on anybody's part to come to a new nation, and expect people to adhere to the former nation's laws (such as Muslims and their Sharia Law, that shit won't fly in Canada, no matter how much Muslims were to preach, and have preached, to become a reality) It's forcing your type of culture as the "proper" way of having a culture, which, as the Japanese person said in the content, is imperialistic in nature.

B. When I said "It's not so much got to do with weeaboos" I was referring to the content (should've made that more clear, my apologies)
The guy being talked down to by the Japanese person was a somewhat prominent figure in the Anti-GG group until this picture came out.
However, in defense of weeaboos, I sincerely doubt many of them try to change a culture much, because it is that fanatical form of fanboyism that essentially gave them the title of weeaboo. There may be those here and there, and yes Culture shock is there, but you forgot to mention the 3rd and 4th possible outcome of culture shock, which are acceptance and cosmopolitanism. Whilst I doubt anything above 10% of weeaboos will be in the 3rd and 4th category we simply cannot dismiss it either however.

My primary argument was that this image has little to do with the subject of weeaboos, because there isn't one in there to properly showcase what exactly you mean.
Also, it's fine if you're frustrated. We all are at times.

Can't post replies on that thread anymore. Then you realise it's your crazy ex wanting to chop off your penis and feed it to baby turtles while you are watching.
