As a gamer, I concur, THAT'S why the retard politicians think violent video games are bad for you. If you have the proper mental capacity, you can actually LEARN from them.

On a serious note though, violent games like CoD or Battlefield (or any fast FPS, etc) have lots of benefits to them, one of which is much better hand-eye coordination. If you have subtitles, it can teach you to read along with the voices.

And then you've got the violent strategy games, which might be violent but also help a tonne in terms of logical thinking, and could also teamwork/social skills if you play online.
