I see, I was under the impression you could do an install without having to erase everything. The only real reason I'm interested in upgrading is because DirectX12 sounds awesome, when and if games start taking advantage of it. But I also heard Microsoft is trying to go to a subscription-based OS, and this free upgrade to 10 sounds suspicious in that light. I might wait a bit, the offer doesn't expire for a few months. I think its more at a higher framerate so say it takes a bat to come to a human's face a total 10 frames (random number roll with it) but a fly sees that bat coming to their face taking 20 frames. So for us, by frame 5 we realise the bat is coming and duck we have 5 frames to dodge, but for a fly to take 5 frames to realise and duck, its got 15 frames to dodge (5 to complete the dodge and 10 to tell you got git gud and fly away)

Which I'm fine with. But that is not slow-motion. Describing that effect as slow-motion is like saying 60 fps is slow-motion compared to 30 fps. That's not what the phrase means.
