39% is the normal tax to pay, but if you have a harsh or complicated situation you can get a decrease.

Free school
Free health care
Wanna seek a job? get 1200 dollars a month living away from home, 650 dollars living at home
Had a job? but you lost it? sue them with free work unions? be in a special work union and lost your job? get 3600 dollars a month while you find a new job.

and alot more shit

My knowledge is admittedly limited on the subject, but good info! I had recently done a speech about the Danish government, so I' kind of still in the swing of it.

Taxation is pretty high, but it covers pretty much any social/health problems you might run in For a person with an average paying job, the tax takes around 38%. These 38% pays for any treatment you might receive at a Hospital/ER. It assures that you will receive economic help, should you lose your job, and much more than that.

I knew there was high taxation to help pay for all the social and health care (up to a 50% income tax on the rich!) but I just wanted to test the water of knowledge of the subject here and try to be passive as I am sure there are some Danes here.
