well you can't expect people to not react when being teased (to say the least)

of course it is a choice. But I dont think a "newly famous" goes out of their way the first time a paparazzi takes a photo to punch them in the face.
what i think happens is that it's an annoying process that builds up over time until the person snaps. And then it's all their fault (according to some).. sure maybe it wasnt just that paparazzi that had been annoying all those months/years/whatevs but i hope you see my point here.

you say that paparazzis have never done anything to harm anyone..

yea no.. maybe not physically
but they have said some pretty god damn retarded things.. like really retarded..
asking.. no shouting out questions that is none of their bis..

yes it is their job
yes it is on demand
no it doesnt make it ok

If i put it this way: the paparazzis willingly chose that life and they willingly chose how to talk to celebrities.

bystanders like myself respond to such behavior aswell.. negatively or positively

I think you misunderstand me, i'm not talking about reports being stronger than pictures.. allthough in some cases it is.

but yea well fair enough, i just connected you with the magazines that spits out crap like that.
i also have a question for you, it's not a accusation even if it might sound like it.
how come paparazzis always shouts questions all the time when they take the photographs? i must be for something more than just personal curiosity.
or maybe they have someone with them i dont know.

i feel like you're holding paparazzis abit to high when posting that image by the way.
it feels weird comparing THAT with this

The reason they shout questions is because they expect a reaction. A photo of a celebrity screaming at someone or giving someone the middle finger is going to sell more than of them standing there smiling. It is a harsh fact of the industry, there are some morally questionable things that paps do and I don't agree with antagonizing people. I have seen some paps do messed up things but it is like that in every industry, someone will always break a certain moral code to get ahead. I am not going to deny that what some do is wrong on many levels, but it is still the subjects choice on how they react to a situation. When I was a pap I would get out of my car, attach my lens, and take a few shots. I hardly even spoke unless it was a hello and there are a lot that are like me. The "candid" shots do not typically pay well as one of someone attacking another, but when a really good one comes along it plenty makes up for it. But yeah, what some do is wrong according to my moral code and nothing will stop that. They willingly chose that life and they willingly chose how to react to a photographer. One thing I will say is that I have never seen a pap threaten or cause another harm, but I have surely seen celebrities and their bodyguards attack our groups.

The picture I posted was more of a statement of why I stopped doing it, there are far more important things in this world than Kayne.

Nice sensationalism bro.

The fact of the matter is, certain things about the military, such as plans in a military setting or locations of spies and, yes, spy software, are not the public's business unless it's being used against them. It's extremely detrimental for the good of the country, and if there was complete transparency, the country would fall in under a decade.

what laws prevent spying on foreign nations

so just to be clear germanies constitution. the document setting up the powers of the german government. get to tell the rest of the world what to do?

that is not how a constitution works

www.constitution.org/cons/germany.txt
try that one. article ten clearly states that the right to privacy in tellecommunications may be ignored in the case of law enforcement and the individual may not be notified

so where is the part about us not being allowed to spy? think of it as looking through your neighbors window. from your house. while morally its wrong there really isnt anything illegal about it

User avatar #160 - sketchE (09/04/2013) [-]
the point ive been trying to make is its not your constitution that prevents international espionage. its more than likely a law within your government on how it will be dealt with. a constitution does not tell the world what they can and cant do. a constitutions sole purpose is to tell the government of that nation and that nation alone what to do.

maybe this will be a better analogy. pirate bay. while the observation/torrenting is taking place in germany since we are not physicaly in germany german laws do not apply to us
#166 - infernis has deleted their comment.
User avatar #169 - sketchE (09/05/2013) [-]
thats right your constitution applies to your government meaning your government is not allowed to spy on you unless for investigation purposes. it doesnt say our government cant. much like there is freedom of press in the US yet china still block american websites. should we be getting up in arms because they arent respecting our first amendment rights? no. thats even more like saying you own the world saying what other countries can and cant do

exactly they dont apply to us. meaning your point about it violating your constitution is moot

according to this what the german people do in private is of no concern to anyone but themselves.

and thats not how an analogy works.

which is what the nsa actually did making it an invalid analogy. much like my example
good analogy: hitler gassing the jews was like spraying industrial weed killer on your lawn to kill weeds. it gets the job done but it looks shitty and you get more than planned
bad analogy: hitler gassing all the jews was like your neighbor gassing all the jews

User avatar #165 - sketchE (09/04/2013) [-]
if i was going to make an analogy to someone gassing all the jews i wouldnt say its like if you gas all the jews. analogies are meant to put something complex or foreign on a relatable level. changing the person who does the action doesnt change anything because your still gonna be pissed no matter what
