I meant that vigilante justice in general is wrong and shouldn't be necessary, but in this case you could argue it was acceptable, because no one helped her. She was left alone and a human being can only take so much until you just snap and do whatever it takes to defend yourself.

In short, vigilante justice should not be necessary, but if the justice system refuses to help you, even though you have been wronged in such an extreme way, in this case, being raped, they take away your only other option, which makes it understandable.

I'm attacking the fact that you said she was wrong to take matters into her own hands. You can't just look at the entire world with "How just can we make it?". Often times extremes are a necessity.
