son, let me tell you a story...
There was once a funnyjunk with no thumbs, no user uploads, just a site with a limited amoung of content, funny videos and funny images, everything was comented by anons (you could chose a name but you couldn't create a user).
Then as the site didn't really updated itself much I stoped coming for some time, when I came back the site had changed, and in that time anyone uploading anything got around 8 or 9k thumbs easy (if they made it to front page) sometimes even more.
I lost my account Ithink in 2010 when the site had an error, I didn't cry I created a new one with the same old username.
There's been many wars on this site in the past years, I've seen them all come and go and I still keep coming back almost everyday (if not everyday) to check on this place, to see some funny shit and relax, or sometimes even vent and just attack or troll people to start a fight so I can get some of the shit out of my system, it never fails me.
Sometimes I even get mad at this place others I feel like I belong, because even tho 90% of the people change over the years, the content keeps a steady flow between retoast and stolen content there's always something worth watching, or a comment that will just make your day.
