But you see, therein lies the problem. None of the people here ARE happy being alone. They just tell themselves that they are.
Secondly, only idiots surround themselves with dozens or hundreds of people that the call "friends". That's not how you're supposed to do it. You're supposed to find a select few that you can truly be yourself with.
Third, just because the people around you aren't feeling what you're feeling, doesn't mean you're alone. You're not alone, because you're in the company of your friends and family. I don't have to know the pain of a parent dying to be there for my friend when his does, and let him know he's not alone.

I don't know about other people, I am happy being alone. I have friends, but well I choose to see them as rarely as possible, relationships doesn't make me happy. The part of being close to somebody is ability to relate to yourself to that person, his feelings. When you are dying people close to you are feeling completely different pain than you feel, they feel pain of losing somebody close, and you, well I guess you feel fear, and in the end I bet you realize how alone you really are.
