because it's gray. it all looks good in terms of quality and such but there's a lack of color.

Yea I used a Canon 50D and fish eye lens. Its an HDR with 3 exposures and combined in photoshop.

Its a great time to go too since the dollar-yen exchange rate is 120 yen to the dollar. Essentially everything there is 20% off as a result since 100 yen to one dollar is an even exchange rate.

Also get a JR rail pass which allows unlimited travel on all JR lines (including Bullet Trains) for a set period like 2 weeks.

I dont have an estimate for a short trip like you will be doing, but I can say it wont be too expensive as long as you find a cheap flight. The exchange rate is really damn good and you can live it up without dropping too many dollars.

Np, I was there for a year studying abroad at International Christian University. It was the best year of my life... Tokyo is such a vibrant, beautiful, clean, safe, and wonderful city.

Even during the year I spent there, I wasnt able to see all that Tokyo had to offer.

Tokyo is split up into many districts all specializing in different things. Shibuya (in the picture) is the college/yougn adult hang out and shopping district home to Shibuya crossing, the busiest crossing in the world. I also recommend the robot club in Shibuya, Nakano Broadway in Nakano, Akihabara, the 1/1 scale gundam at Odaiba just to name a few.

haha Roppongi Hills would be good for that. Hmm and instead of staying at a hotel, you can try hostels which are much cheaper. Some even do discounts if you stay for certain lengths of time.

Might also be easier to meet and talk with locals (girls) in smaller towns.

I would disagree on the tons of work part. I'm a biochemistry major and it actually requires knowledge and lots of effort. I sure as fuck couldn't take a picture worth someone buying at this point in my life. Im assuming if I put the work I do into a photography major that I do into mine however that I could graduate in 2 years or less.

relatively maybe so, I'm a CS major and have to work my ass off, but I don't discredit photography one bit, I took PHOTO 101 in college and I had to work hard for a good grade where slackers barely got by if they even passed. And that was just the first course and directed towards non majors.
