| There were reconstructions made of some of the destroyed episodes (I think some are still missing and don't even have the reconstructions). I'm willing to watch them, but I still don't like them that much... The pacing was already off what with the production being in the mid-60's and everything... But it gets worse with the reconstructions what with it just being pictures with audio Here's one of them: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aa6mLS3iXsw Hopefully they'll make animated versions of many of the missing episodes, as they have started doing It's a big task, but would certainly help watching these great stories a little better It may have been slow, but many of Doctor Who's greatest achievements were in the '60s Oh definitely. I mean, there are a lot of great episodes, and sometimes the slow pacing actually worked like in the arc 'Edge of Destruction' that was more like a psychological horror what with the way everyone was acting. What I'm meaning is that I can definitely bare a little bit of slow pacing, but I can't get into it with just pictures I also noticed that your username is "Yetaxaa", and your pic is William Hartnell Would that have anything to do with the fact that Barbara pretended to be Yetaxa in 'The Aztecs' arc? no, there will only be more questions. The old episodes are very, very different and a lot of stuff has been retconned since the new series. | ||

| The series wasn't deemed important enough to keep the tapes, so it was just tossed. My Grandfather has diligently searched down some very rare episodes that he remembers watching when they aired, but there are still so many that will never be seen again.
