 Honestly that's what I expected. You can get some pretty bad wart-like things that are just like this from shooting up shit with dirty needles.  Chances are though that if you're shooting up you have no idea who you're shooting up with, just that they're "a friend." They could have HIV, or the person they got the needle from, or someone else on the street... who knows. HIV is mostly spread by used needles nowadays, especially with the advent of condoms. But I misread his statement so it's all good. He just meant a needle that's dirty, not necessarily used. Dirty doesn't have to mean used. Notice how doctors always clean the area of the injection off with alchohol swabs and keep the needles encased in plastic before doing anything. If you keep using the same needle to shoot stuff up you'll probably get a nasty infection, which is likely to be a lot more things than just HIV. #187 -
