He later tried the name of "White," but came to like "Bleach" more for its association with the color white and that he did not find it too obvious." It's called "Bleach" because Kubo didn't want a generic or obvious name like "White" or "Black" but he wanted a name that was simple in the same sense. He settled on "Bleach" because it was symbolic of the soul reapers purifying the souls of the dead people while still being cool and spicy. In some Asian countries black and white mean something like guilty and innocent, the soul reapers not only send the souls of dead people to "heaven" (soul society) but purify the souls of hollows as well. I think bleach is very fitting don't you think? #13

iluvharrypotter (05/19/2013) [-] I think they mean comics, because the TWD started off as a comic. Even so, he's as much as a super hero as everyone else in the comics. The image is also wrong too, there's doctors in the TWD universe, even after Hershel dies in the comics Carl gets shot in the eye and gets healed by a nurse with medicine to stop infection, not to mention Rick takes medicine after his arm gets cut off and Dwight uses eyedrops for his burnt face which is medicine. | ||
