"relatable"?

Yes. My own mother acts a lot like her in that iteration, dood.

And based on that, your conclusion is that everyone can relate to new Lola cause everyone has had past experiences with your mother?
#123 - newprinny (12/25/2015) [-]
No, because if you look past the obvious exaggeration of her character, you'll find a type of personality that a lot of people can relate to, though I guess there's a requirement that you have friends first, dood. You can't honestly tell me you or anyone you know has never come across a person like this.

I have not, and I'd wager my social life isn't too crippled.
#126 - newprinny (12/25/2015) [-]
Well then you've managed to dodge a rather common bullet of a personality, but it is a more relatable personality than fuck bunny, dood.

Well, people are never arsed to maintain the bridges between me and them, so at least I get to be picky about what people I want to maintain connections with. If not, that bridge just withers away.

It's not "just as bad," but it is a damn good beginning argument.

While I disagree with the concept of Gladiators.... Children of the State, would be a good... "standing army" concept.
User avatar
#82 - sgtmajjohnson (12/25/2015) [-]
Yeah, because why not enslave children to a life of military service? There's no way having an army of conscripts raised from birth and forced into service instead of volunteers from amongst the regular population could backfire. For one, it creates a huge divide between civilian populace and military; it also forces children to fight armed conflicts without their consent; finally, using what are essentially slaves with total indoctrination would create an armed force with a dangerous level of obedience.

Abortions are as reprehensible as masturbating until ejaculation or having an egg that doesn't get fertilised. It's the same waste.
#19 - newprinny (12/24/2015) [-]
Right, because natural body processes that shed one half of the genetic material necessary to create a human being and paying a doctor to forcibly remove the fertilized and already developing combination of the two are totally the same thing, dood.
I understand why it's necessary, I understand why people feel it's the only option for them, and I understand that the alternatives are often just as bad or worse than death before they're given a chance at life, but I can't bring myself to say that for me it's morally acceptable. I will not force another person to carry a baby they have no ability or intention to raise properly, but I can not also excuse it morally.

Yeah, watch the vid of the guy I replied to, dood. She used to just be sexy and that's basically it, but now she's a ditzy, annoying, but good natured valley girl or something, I guess.

B looks like she's squinting hard to read something. Regardless, none of those are sexy.

she is the stereotypical annoying dumb hot blonde.

making a character annoying and stupid does not equal a personality

#29 - crimsonrex (12/25/2015) [-]
It's manageable, I like it and it's better than nothing which she was back in Space Jam. I guess people love blank slate fanservice characters huh?
#21 - thefluf (12/24/2015) [-]
Before: Furry bait fuck bunny.
Now: Retarded to the point of almost forgetting how to breathe, annoying, pleasant to none type personality.

Much better.

Before: had the personality of a cassette recording of a porno taped to a cardboard cutout of a pin up model
After: has an annoying, but relateable, albeit massively exaggerated, personality that's more annoying than porno on cardboard personality
Honestly, yeah, it's a lot better, dood.

I feel like you are the best person to ask about this Does disgaea get better after the whole space arc? I was loving the hell out of it before its made me go onto a space ship to rescue a party member i just got...it seems like the arc i stopped at was just thrown on really. but is it worth it to keep going or just go to the next game as the games are non-sequiturs

I've actually only played all the way through 3 and the Prinny spin-off games, dood. If the space arc you're talking about is post final boss, then yeah, there's really no reason to keep playing unless you just really like playing the game, it's post game content, of which there's hundreds of hours' worth, but most of it is random dungeons and a couple DLC extra stories and stuff. You can move on after the end of the story if you don't want to grind your characters up to lvl 9999 or do pirating, reverse pirating, item world, char world, land of carnage, house of ordeals, etc., since none of that stuff is really important to the story, dood.
