| You know there's a difference between being rich and being lucky right? I'm not entirely sure what you are saying but it sounds like you are saying something along the lines of "if you were poor, you couldn't post stuff here in your spare time". I can't say this kind of thing for everyone but... I live in a 'high' minimum wage area and got a room with internet (amongst other basic amenities) and pay a grand total of $400 for it. Other people get handouts, But i don't have that much money to toss around. And they DO get back money from piracy in the form of advertising. it's why Nintendo is shooting themselves in the foot by DMCAing Let's Play-ers who literally give them free advertising. And THEY actually pay for the game (or have paid, if they ARE using a pirate copy for Ease of Use reasons). Srs. No poor person lives like a rich person. Though standards of living have meant that our poorest DO kind of live better than Kings of old in certain ways in many different countries. | ||

| I never said it shouldn't be. Piracy SHOULD be illegal, but i think its still something that should exist. It prevents or works around a few nasty anti-consumer practices. There's also a few studies that show how piracy helped certain products gain popularity- and thus sales. You know there's a difference between being rich and being lucky right?
