Eugenics in the modern sense are also incredibly ignorant of how genetics work other than awareness that genes even exist. Epigenetics, gene expression, recessive traits... on top of the fact that a lot of cripples weren't born that way and that anyone can spend the rest of their life in a wheelchair after one bad accident.
