Consider this: A maxed out character is relatively unstoppable. Nothing can defeat them. Nothing presents a challenge. You can rain fire, you can sever heads, you are pretty much a fucking god. The only reason the whole world exists after the main quest is the Dragonborn. Who is going to question the power of a guy like that? The dominion would shit their PANTS if they saw the Dragonborn charging against them with a fuckload of Imperial OR stormcloak soldiers.

Hell, if the Stormcloaks and Imperials pulled their heads out of their asses, teamed up and followed the Dragonborn, the Thalmor and the Dominion would be absolutely crushed. It seems like a lot of effort for one guy but when you can summon no less than TWO dragons, I don't think anyone stands a chance.

I'd fucking love to see a DLC expanding on kicking the Thalmor and their FUCKING ASS.
