Ya, my school, Texas Tech, takes Dynamics as hardcore and makes it a bitch of a class, three problem tests that are hard to finish in the 1.5 hour time limits. Statics was just like summation of forces and moments in 2/3D space, pretty much an intro to solids.

Yeah UNCC has statics which is for civil and ME majors. We also have fluid mechanics. The instructor said that the class should really just be called solid work mechanics. Our final was 3.5 hrs long and he allowed us an extra half hour if we needed it, we all did. It was four questions long.

To be fair, there was actually dubstep in the 90s. Around the end of the 90s, it was just dark, experimental 2-step garage; granted though, it wasn't coined dubstep till the early 00s if I remember correctly.
