I thought you meant actual sent messages.

I've seen plenty of Useful ones in Dark Souls, left a few myself

"Be wary of Chest" in Sens Fortress
"Try Left" in Anor Londo and things like that.

Also, for your comment above, too, how is fast rolling not smart at all, it only leaves you open if you're actually mentally retarded, it's better in literally every single way than med/fat rolling and blocking.

I always found that Dark souls had alot more dicks but Demons souls has far worse more refined dicks. People who made you look like a complete idiot or made trap messages.
I'd say Demons souls has a far better community though, hell even the hackers are decent with their rainbowy glowy ways.

Well the retards I've met have been fast-rolling against me, which isn't smart at all. Leaves you open.

They tried to parry jumping attacks.

Tried to block my taurus greataxe with a light shield.

It's like they don't even know the mechanics of the game.

Never played Demon's Souls and Probably never will. So I've no idea what you mean, also never had a single "Praise the sun" message

Shame, always kinda wanted to play it.
User avatar #392233 - natanhiel (03/28/2013) [-]
Well, most messages I found on Demons were always stuff like "There is an enemy to the right"
"Watch out for the enemy ambush"
"If you have white soul tendency you can proceed"

I only found one message instructing me to fall to my death, in the Valley of Defilement.

Yeah on the stage with first encounter with the reaper enemies there is a way to spawn behind the gold skellies near the invis enemies, kill them with the darkhand like weapon and get a crazy amount of souls. There are plenty of tutorials for it out there that I doubt you need but if you want to check out.

And the fast and seamless nature of the game only shows up in parts that make sense. Not every encounter allows for fast rail-traveling. The game allows you to try many different things. I would say the pacing in combat for the most part is the same as Bioshock 1 but with more variety. You can just check some of the gameplay in the link I provided to my stream.
User avatar #57 - buriedstpatrick (03/26/2013) [-]
This game is not so creepy. It's more fantastic in every sense of the word. I really appreciate the new approach, because as we saw in Bioshock 2 the formula was getting stale. But I urge you to give it a try. If you are not conviced, buy it when it goes on sale some time. If you're on PC I suggest finding some CD-key thirdparty selling sites such as cjs-cdkeys.com. They often sell them a lot cheaper.

And some things I want to point out about this game:

1) The story is awesome and tacles many adult themes such as racism, religion and philosophy in a very mature manner that makes sense for the time period.
2) The gameplay is simply fantastic with jumping between rails high in the air while fighting almost seamlessly.
3) The game has choices and consequence and they often are very hard and pressuring to make.
4) The graphics are insane. The artistic vision is completely intact. I'm completely overwhelmed by the amount of detail in the environments and how they manage to evoke deep emotions into the characters' faces.

It's well worth the 50 Euros on Steam (If you happen to be European), even though I got it over at Greenman Gaming for 37 plus I got XCOM, Bioshock 1 and The Darkness II with it all.

Well, I have only have a slight idea how close I am to the end. It feels like I'm in the 3rd act of the story. Then again, Bioshock 1 had those extra few chapters after Andrew Ryan I wasn't expecting.

If 8 hours and 25 minutes is what it takes to complete a game AND take the time to look at the scenery, then I'll probably never get it.
