RvB is basically the most fan-service-y show I've ever seen. And that's fanservice in the traditional meaning, i.e: Doing service to the fans. Now, these days and for the past few decades the most common sort of fanservice has been titty-jiggling and absurd curves but the best kind of fanservice is when you see things you remember, nostalgia in a sense.
RvB has that in spades. There's a joke in the 2nd episode of the first season that shows up again in the climax of the 8th season as one of the most badass one-liners imaginable.
Basically, RvB is a show that you get the most out of if you watch it from start to finish because not only does the series just go from strength to strength to strength it also never forgets its roots and rewards long-time viewers. E.G: That "Lightish Red" joke comes from the first season and it shows up a lot down the line, also becoming an absurdly hilarious and awesome one-liner in series 11.
So it's kind of slog to get through, with each season lasting between one and three hours long each (split into about 20 episodes a piece) but they can all be found on their website: roosterteeth.com/archive/?id=88&v=more&s=1 (You can catch them on youtube too but I kinda like giving these guys the website traffic and the ad-revenue they get from me watching their stuff on their own site because... damn it all I like the stuff they make and I wanna see more of it).
Oh... and I don't think I've ever seen time travel done as magnificently as it is done in RvB. Some series make more of a point with it, sure... but my god the shit they do in RvB busts my gut.
If you can put up with the low production values at the start you'll get to watch as the show evolves, the characters develop, the plot thickens, and what was initially planned to be a ten-episode joke series grow to be the titan of internet-media that largely inspired the massive machinima boom of the naughties and put people like LyleMcDouchebag on the map. It's a great watch.

I used to think he said dinas day, like you don't meet a girl like that every damn day, and dinas was just like a chinese word for damn or something. Literally what I thought for several years.
