| ... Because Ukraine isn't part of NATO. As you said, West doesn't give a shit about eastern Europe, but NATO gives a shit about NATO. And even if they wouldn't, it isn't a risk Putin will take. Since the jet fighter crisis, have you been wondering how come Russia hasn't invaded Turkey by now ? Turkey is in the NATO. That's why. Exactly my point. NATO isn't the military alliance it's made out to be, it's basically the US waving it's dick around anytime Russia gets ballsy and every other country throwing a few planes or tanks towards some random fucking Slavic country to make it look like they're helping. Fuck Germany and France, if they don't give a fuck, kick them out of NATO or again, say it fuck it to NATO and let them deal with Russia when they don't have their bodyguard to stand behind. NATO is not motivated by some imaginary penis of the USA. Russia has contiued to provoke it's neighbors by flying military planes over the border for years now, including Finlands border. We're all pissed about it but wont really attempt to shoot it down for fear of retaliation. The turkish fighter incident is an exception. Which is Russia flexing it's muscles, to which we respond with troops and equipment being sent into Poland, the Baltic States, or the Arctic. Hell, during the Maiden Revolution, we didn't even bother deploying troops until we heard Russia was supplying weapons to the rebels. That revolution is just another proxy war because neither side will make the first move to make things better. | ||
