It's been my pseudonym / gamertag since I started using computers some 15 years ago.
I was (and still am) an astronomy fan, so I decided to name myself after the star Zeta Puppis, a supergiant blue star, whose ancient Greek name was "Naos", meaning "the ship".
But it turned out Naos was already taken, so I kicked the S out and went for Nao instead.

And now here I am all these years later on that english speaking website, getting showered in notifications because you damn internet people can't be arsed to spell properly
