Most wonderful moment. I close the cage and padlock it with carabeeners then put up a gate and leave him to go to sleep.

He whines as per usual but I ignore it. I start hearing crashing, I figure he'll tire out, carabeeners can't be broken right? Then a large crash... it sounded like the gate falling. Paws running up stairs, then suddenly scratching at my door. He opens the door, I turn around... he just stares for a moment... and bows.

I go back to the cage, it's still closed! To this day I'll never know how Tyson got out of his cage though I'm thinking we should have named him Houdini.

We need protein, yeah, but now humans can just get that in the form of soya. Though you are correct, in order for a human to be healthy, we need protein in our diets (which as humans we originally got from eating animals).

You don't NEED it.. Our body needs protein, but nowadays, that doesn't mean you have to eat meat from an animal. Also many meals that people eat today are high fatty, beefy meats, not lean. If everyone ate lean meat all the time, then we'd all prosper from it all the time, but that's just not the case.

uhm, well, our body NEEDS meat, mostly because of iron, we evolved in a way in which both meat and vegetables are necessary for us, eating only vegetables is basically against our nature.

Like I said below, it would be profitable for humans to eat all lean meat, which we do not do, so it is actually more beneficial to get these nutrients in other ways instead of constantly eating fatty meats. Also, have you never heard of soya..? I never said other kind of meat, I said, "that doesn't mean you have to eat meat from an animal." Meaning there are other sources for those nutrients. Anyways, I'm not a vegan/vegetarian myself at all, hell, I love a good burger. But I'm only making a point that vegans/vegetarians can be extremely healthy without eating animals.

We got canines for a reason and that reason isn't to chew on grass. Sure you can eat vegetables to get all the protein you want, but who wants a boring life like that.

I just don't agree with vegetarians. Animals in the wild eat other animals all the time. And they bring up the mass meat farming that fast food places do. Well them not eating meat does literally nothing to save those cows from certain doom. Because just because one person isn't eating it doesn't mean that I'm not. I'll let people be vegan/vegetarian but if they try to force it on me then shits going down. Same with religion.

Vegans/vegetarians MAY avoid meat on moral grounds, but that's not to "save" all the animals from their death, that's just them not wanting to eat something that was once living. Also, many do it because they don't like the taste of meat at all or because they want to cleanse their bodies. Like I said, much meat that people eat today isn't even healthy for the body, vegans/vegetarians are often much more healthy than the average person. I know that's not true for every meat-eater, but people don't eat meat for certain reasons, not just for one. Also, I've never seen a vegan/vegetarian try to shove their lifestyle down someone else's throat, but that's just me. Though I wouldn't like it either, like you said.
