oooh so you have find statue of mother Isis and young Horus. Since the primitive times in almost every religion there have been some kind of ,,mother" cult. Egyptian religion was polytheistic there have been almost 2000 gods. I'm not saying that christian religion is original or something but I think more things have been copied from another monotheistic cults in ancient era like zoroastrizm or egyptian Atton cult. Definitely not from Horus. He wasn' t born from virgin. Not even single thing that was written here about Horus is not ,,true". Read more about egyptian mythology. Without it it is just stupid religious insulting. And yes I am atheist.

It's a fact that most parts of the newer religions were taken over from former religions or pagan rituals. Let's take Jesus' birthday as an example: Although it's known that Jesus was in fact born some time in September, the roman church put this holiday on the end of December aligning it with the winter solstice. Many pagan beliefs were founded on the myth that around the winter solstice (resembling a change in nature) Gods were born....
My point with the previous post was only to enlighten those religious fags on this website.
