also to add to the part below, I wished for a source as the size of the bacteria although being alien to most life on earth is not alien to all life on earth and being genetically different does not separate it from the types of life we have recorded. I do not know much else about it hence asking for the source as I am genuinely interested being a university student studying Biology. I just am too lazy to dig it up at this current time. The statement and information provided appeared to be skewed and vague.

You seem to have mixed things up a little. (only a little and semantically so) But I will babble on none the less.
Eukaryotes and Prokaryotes are a different cellular classification, prokaryotes in layman's term meaning before - nucleus. which refers to cellular organisms with no membrane bound organelles and Eukaryotes being cells with membranes.
The 3 domains of life that this is referring to is the evolutionary tree of bacteria, archaea and eukaryota. Each of these had a common ancestor and branched off due to different evolutionary features to suit their biological functions and environment.
The 4 classifications I posted above are pathogenic classifications.
To add to it, the 3 domains you were attempting to list are from the phylogenetic tree of life which is generally used as a method of analogous/homologous comparison for evolutionary traits and are not seen as domains in life themselves. The branches of each of these sections then break down into "kingdoms" for classification of life.
I was more interested in the source for this piece of work as I do not wish to trawl through research in my downtime from studying Biology.

I don't even know where you got that from.
I'm just saying it's difficult to break a cycle, especially when there are other options.
Look at the history of science; it used to be strictly men. Nobel Prize distributions will tell you that. However as time goes on a balance is emerging- I'd say its even numbers in my second year undergrad classes. Somebody had to be a 'First Woman in Science To Do X' years ago. That progress just hasn't happened in Engineering yet.

You know, none trying to enter the field because hardly enter and they don't want to stand out doesn't exactly help. That is self-fulfilling behavior that will never improve their situation. They need to actually enter those fields if they want there to be less of a gender disparity.
