I have a tattoo in Tolkien's elvish on my back, underneath Smaug. I don't speak it, but I'd love to. I don't think it's really that geeky at all, so long as you don't go around using it in every day conversation.

Can I see it? Curious.

Thanks I used to have synth dreads, but I don't have them in at the moment.
User avatar #18 - dawnwilliams (09/16/2014) [-]
I've been told I'd look good with dreads, but I've never been into that sort of look.
At least not for myself :v
User avatar #19 - flibstaar (09/16/2014) [-]
You could always make a set and try them out. I made my whole set for about £50, and there were A LOT. Synth dreads are cool because (although it does take a bit of time) you can take them in and out relatively easily. You won't have to cut all your hair off if you don't like them. I love the way they look, but I've taken them out because they were very heavy and made my head itch and feel hot, as if I'd been wearing a hat for a really long time. That's the only downside.
User avatar #20 - dawnwilliams (09/16/2014) [-]
Heh... Not my thing, but that sounds interesting. Maybe when I'm 30ish and having a mid-life crisis :^)

I like seeing dreads on other people, but not on me

you should take some statistics courses, they would teach you why your statement is meaningless.
#83 - muffinssnuffims (16 hours ago) [-]
If you had taken a statistics course, you should know that while my small amount of evidence is nearly meaningless, it is less meaningless than the 0 evidence provided by most people purporting that learning Dovah nearly guarantees wizardry via perpetual virginity.

Just don't want wizards in training to be disappointed if their anti-girl wards fail before 40.

Mount&blade Warband is a game i highly recommend for endless gameplay. raising an army and conquering the entire land and your leisure. Setting up businesses and participating in tournements. training a loyal band of heroes to add to your army and siege castles.

Pick are just some regular footman
and it has a very active MP

Yeah repetitive as hell and more buggy than an EA release, while this game is basically a ripoff of the mildly entertaining Sid Meier's Pirates!
User avatar #19 - exceeding (09/13/2014) [-]
a lot of great game are buggy, and almost all "endless" games are repetitive.
like 80% of modern day games (if not more) are rip-offs so what?

Wearing make-up doesn't mean she's craving attention. I wear shit-tons of make-up sometimes. I was an art student and i enjoy doing my make-up, and i like how it looks. I don't put it on for anyone else but myself, it's just personal style. I get most comments on it from girls saying "i love your make-up! how did you do that?" and a few from guys saying that they don't like girls who wear a lot of make-up, and i really couldn't care less. My boyfriend thinks it looks cool that i can do it so well, and he's seen me without it too.
#54 - anonymous (09/13/2014) [-]

#52 - muffinssnuffims (09/13/2014) [-]
Did you not read the part where I said sometimes people will just appreciate it for the effort and money that went into it? Like I said, that doesn't have to be sexual or attention craving - it can just be appreciating the art.

That said, outside of art majors, there is definitely a correlation between massive amounts of makeup and attention seekers. Not everyone who wears tons is necessarily seeking attention, but many are. I would think it would be different in art school though - didn't think about that.
