This is what I found from more or less credible sources. I copy pasted the passage where they mention the quote. YW.
"A German General Officer":
"Years ago there was a quote, from an unknown German officer, found on the walls of many military offices that read, "The reason the American Army does so well in war is because war is chaos and the American Army practices chaos on a daily basis." "
"From a Soviet Document":
Interestingly, the American forces have often been accused of failing to follow
their own doctrine when conducting operations. A common quote, most commonly
attributed to an unknown Russian military document or to an unknown German officer, highlights the benefit of this: "One of the serious problems in planning against Americandoctrine is that the Americans do not read their manuals nor do they feel any obligationsto follow their doctrine." This emphasizes the importance of the American commander’sjudgment when applying the doctrine to a particular operational environment in order toaccomplish his assigned mission.

tbh just following it with your eyes is really easy no idea why would it be hard for a cat if he already knows to search for the object, so your comment might be true i give it a smaller chance but it really doesn't matter how the cat figured it out

most white cats are deaf
#17 - anonymous (03/19/2015) [-]
Not really. Mainly just albinos. Normal white cats are just as healthy as any other color.
#26 - medexplain (03/20/2015) [-]
That's because albinos are white cats with blue eyes...
Cats that have white hair because they just have white hair are usually not deaf.
Cats that have white hair because they're albino are often deaf.
One is a subset of the other. A square is always a rectangle but a rectangle is not always a square.

In this cat you can see quite a bit of red-eye due to camera flash, but looking around the edges you can see that the irises are actually blue.
FWIW: Albinos will also have pink noses/ears/paw pads for the same reason. No pigmentation means blood shows through a lot easier.
There are also varying degrees of albinism, of course.

That was with wifi and mobile data on (didn't have any bluetooth devices for it at the time), with brightness fairly down in the ballpark of 25-35% (screen is more than bright enough in majority of situations), and normal casual use (check emails, browse web/facebook and the like, use actual phone). And that was before I even got rid of the bloatware or did anything to have it use the RAM better too. So nothing too fancy even.
