Okay, problems here: Latin nouns have 12 forms, if I remember correctly, and verbs have somewhere in the vicinity of 172. Not to mention, Latin is not English, therefore they would not be speaking English.

I generally don't like him. He has a pretty good actor, but he's inconsistent. For every Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind there's two Mr. Poppers Penguins.

You are aware that the Mythbusters are no where near the intelligence and wit of Tesla?
They did not use HIS oscillator, they used one that ran on the same principle as Tesla's i.e. one they built to the best of their shows ability. Tesla's documents, for the most part, were apprehended by the government, stolen, or destroyed. We are talking about Tesla here. The Mythbusters are a bunch of children with firecrackers compared to him.

True enough, he was a much better scientist than either of them, astronomically so, but still, a handheld oscillator able to level part of New York is far fetched, even for Tesla. Everything else he made was at least documented with some degree of how it worked, but the oscillator is rather unbelievable. You have to remember, in his later years, he made many false claims to receive attention, such as a death ray.

>look superior
He was superior in every way.
He had an oscillator that could fit in the palm of your hand that he resonated with the Earths magnetic field and nearly brought down several city blocks before he had to destroy it.
He designed the Wadenclyffe Tower (figured out you could put energy into the atmosphere and into the earth without any transmission except for natural occurring electromagnetic waves)
Tesla is the ONLY person in the world that when talked about his works are not exaggerated because he was that fucking awesome.
User avatar #34 - mrtwilightsparkle (06/16/2013) [-]
I'm not disagreeing with you, look at my lower comment.

But the oscillator was actually disproved. Following his design, it was tested, and while causing massive tremors, did not actually do any structural damage.

now.msn.com/famous-school-dropouts
Here you go.

A top comment in the site that is very interesting "When one of my students bring up a successful drop out, I say to them "Its one thing to drop out because school is getting in the way of your success, it's another to drop out because you just don't like it"

But again, its still very risky. i didn't drop out of school( although because i really wanted) because i didn't have any alternative road to take, i stayed and finished it.
