Except that dogs have been domesticated over the course of many, many years. And his statement only kind of contradicts itself, because he isn't saying that all dogs are bad or that some breeds aren't more aggressive than others, he is saying that those smaller breeds actually tend to be more snappy than others, that's why they're called anklebiters after all. To put my own opinion into it, pit bulls are an amazing dog breed. My neighbor owns a pit bull named Jake and he is the most well-trained dog I have ever seen. When you play with him, it looks like he's getting viscous but he never bites hard enough to draw blood, and all you need to tell him 'sit' and he calms down immediately. Typically, with animals that have been domesticated through the course of multiple generations (and some wild animals), it is a case of how they are raised and trained, not what breed they are.

No, no, no. Pitbulls were originally intended for fighting large animals, one of which is in their name. They were bred for fighting off bears, and also to fight bulls. It was only later that people went
Big muscle warrior dog. We fight them and have fun.
Any dog breed can be trained to fight other dogs.
