Is Musk the hero we need?
And while this does (by Elon's standards) sound like the most plausible of his plans to date. I still wouldn't hold my breath for anything tangible coming from him.
I just googled Elon Musk ISP and found tons of websites talking about his internet plans. Something about global coverage and what pretty extreme. As for it being bullshit or not, out of everything he's done so far this one actually seems the most plausible to be honest.
From what I can find he supposedly wants to give 1gb coverage world wide and if he can manage that even in just america he'd really cause one hell of a shitstorm cause that'd blow comcast and AT&T out of the water with their measily next to nothing up/down speeds. Even if 30$ a month is a bullshit entry price and it goes up to 60-70 a month that is still a MASSIVE jump in performance compared to other ISPs.
is that true? it's an entry price?
Since there appears to be no actual information from what I could find via google. All it appears right now is this is just talk. But if it is true, and it does include internet for home computers then thirty dollars is a ludicrous price tag that most certainly would be a entry or promotional price for new customers and lets be real here. Even if that is the case and the price does increase, by like double, this would still make it a competition crusher for businesses like AT&T and Comcast who offer a piddly amount for home computers and have the audacity to charge 50-60$ a month.
Even if this covers just cellphones 1gb download is still stupidly high and if you have a hotspot you could potentially run your home internet off it as well. And if that happens this puts Elon in very powerful position and that's not just concerning finances either. He'll have a big dick to swing around with lobby groups, he'll have an amazing source of income
The cell phone coverage alone potentially would be great, but if it included home internet it'd be one hell of a juggernaut
most importantly of all
if the other ISPs like AT&T and Comcast don't throw a massive fucking hissy fit like they did with Google Fibre which is why we don't have it in most of america even though its fucking god tier internet and try to take him to court he'd force the start of an ISP arms race forcing ISPs to up their game and actually offer a legitimate service and not this you get what we give you bullshit
But, most of this is hypothetical conjecture at this point in time as from what I can find Elon has only touched on this subject once or twice and that was earlier this year and late last year, from what I could find. So if any plans for this have actually surfaced or any progress on this has occured I haven't seen anything. So I'm left believing that this is just another one of Elon's crazy hairbrain ideas that ultimately won't really bear any real fruit.

Because one day Morty is gonna inherit the car and, by the looks of it in season 3, he's also gonna be the smartest guy in the universe when Rick is gone.
Deep down in his subconcious mind...the man cares.

She died in February of 1857, it is now August of 1857. No human in a coma could possibly survive that long without being fed and hydrated. So whatever is down there can't possibly be a person mistaken for dead anymore.
