Also, most the games are being made for the xbox, and ported to the ps4, which makes them automatically slightly better on the xbox.

No one watches TV on their Xbox YET because you can't watch TV on your Xbox. Yet. But you can watch Netflix and Youtube, and lots of people do that. So basically it's an extra feature you might or might not use. Just like Netflix and Youtube Apps now. Being upset about extra features is like being upset you have leftovers after eating out. The extra features are what they are hardwiring this for is the problem, not that they are there. Plus the fact that you always have to be connected to the kinect, which will STILL be a piece of shit (they could have easily faked the entire on-stage showing) and the fact that you need to be always connected to their servers. Look how great that worked out in the past

They COULD have faked the on stage thingy. but faking it would cost about the same as writing software that worked correctly. I don't think microsoft is dumb enough to make that retarded decision yet. (although it's only a matter of time)
The always connected internet thingy will be resolved shortly after when the collective minds of Linux heads write a mod hours after the first units are sold.
the kinect comes with the xbox, so being always connected to it shouldn't be a hassle. if it is to you, you may need to rethink your priorities.

DRM itself may not be that big of a deal but in the hands of multi-billion dollar companies, we should not underestimate what they could possibly do with it.

Well the major issue here is that console gamers have grown used borrowing games. Once you've grown used doing of getting something, say getting free ice cream for years from an ice cream parlor then suddenly for no good reason They say no more and take it away, you'll be obviously be upset. (Not the best of examples but it'll do). Point is once people get used to something and gets it taken away it causes and uproar. It's understandable.
Also borrowing games would introduce you into games you'd never or couldn't buy yourself. I would have never played metal gear solid games if I hadn't borrowed them. Now I own the majority of the series. Now if you can't borrow games you might miss out on good experiences.

It's really a bad marketing strategy to show all of the extra things a console can do before showing you the actual product. A lot of gamers have learned to be weary when a company is talking about the bells and whistles instead of the actual product. That usually implies the product is shit, they know it's shit and they want to sell you on the add ons. In effect, they're currently marketing a super expensive DVD player.

I won't say anything about the features, but the information thing is pure bullshit. They have nothing to gain from giving such a poor first impression. If they wanted to save something for E3 they should have fucking waited for E3.

If I remember correctly they delayed the reveal one month to answer for the PS4. If this was their jacked up presentation I can't imagine the other one.
