Fuck that movie. I was so excited for this movie. I waited, bought tickets early for opening day. Got to the theater hours before the showing. And then i had to watch that bullshit. Pathetic. Even George Lucas hates that filth. And anyone who likes it only likes it so you can seem cool and popular with other idiots who know nothing about star wars. Go fuck yourselves

Personally other than a few things around the movie I would've liked it if they picked a different person for the main villain. The acting from most of the actors was excellent. IMO his acting sucks, his character doesn't appear to really be evil just have temper tantrums every once in a bit Also the fact that it seems he wants to suck vaders dick seems pretty homo. All that, "Show me the power of the dark side vader and the worship of his helmet. Overall I just view him as the producers found someone who's a huge fan of starwars and vader and said, "Hey, I heard you like vader.... How would you like to play a fan of vader in the new starwars movie?" .

You also got fin refusing to kill for the order but having no problem massacring his fellow storm troopers. I assume fin grew up with these troopers since he went to check on the well being of his fallen brother and got blood smeared on his face.

You also have luke watching as his padawans are killed. I understand that luke doesn't like to end the lives of others but..... he should be strong enough in the force to be able to disable his sisters son not to mention the fact that ren blows with a lightsaber.
Luke also said he'd train leia in the ways of the force in the previous movie but he obviously didn't. Can't say he was occupied training people either because they said the training of padawans came a while after the fall of the empire.

Newest jedi being stronger than anakin in the force i found very unlikely. not to mention luke apparently didn't say much about vader and how he returned to the lightside during his final moments or else i'm betting a good chunk of the first orders power could've been avoided. Also they should've put someone with more charisma as the speaker during the firing of the starkiller because without that charisma it was pretty lame.

I really don't get the hype. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate it, but I certainly felt it was a disappointment. I mean, honestly, why should I willingly pay $15 to watch Episode IV when I already have it on VHS and DVD? All these people go "oh, it's just homages and references is all." No. When the entire plot is an "homage," that's just called plagiarism. I truly don't understand how almost nobody else seems to acknowledge that it was almost literally the exact same movie.
Anon because I already know I'll get drowned in red thumbs for my unpopular opinion. Ain't dealin' with that.

That said, at least we got TR-8R out of it. That, and the scene with the two troopers gtfo'ing during Kylo's tantrum were the only reasons I don't regret seeing it opening night.
