if you want people to pin-point the series it originated from then, really, you're not going to get a satisfying answer. if you really want to find out, go trough every anime ever released in a chronological order and see which one did it first.

"It's not that I like you or anything" is just a "subtle" confession of love/slip of the tongue, by the tsundere.

"It's not that I --" has become a cliche (and the phrase was most likely created to be a cliche), often used in parodies and comedy.
