The reason that it is taught that way is because that was the intention, and it's really not that big of a deal considering two thousand years have passed. Christmas is in December because of a Roman feast day, the Saturnalia (also known as the winter solstice) When Charlemagne, the First Holy Roman Emperor, made Christianity the official religion of Rome, he just put Jesus' birthday on an already-holiday, and no one really cared so long as they got the day off work and got to eat.

Be there for 9, so you have to leave the house at 8:30, then minus an hour to get ready, so up at 7:30 at the absolute latest. And when you're up 'til 3 reading in the morning almost every night. Oh, I go to an engineering school. Women don't dress up for anything. It's all t-shirts, jeans, and sweat pants. Everyone cares more about school than what they look like, I guess.

I kinda agree with that logic. saying you're a pussy for simulating something you could physically do yourself (except skyrim obviously) makes sense. Yeah, people aren't going to buy a racecar, join a war, or even find a dragon, but it's not impossible. And a guitar is a FUCKTON easier to buy/learn to play with than going to college.
