Whenever Deadpool loses a limb normally he tries to find it and just sticks it back on. Either that or it takes him a long time to grow a new one. I believe with the head it doesn't grow back because his brain is seperated from his body. He needs to physically put his head back on. He can control his body with a decapitated head and guid it to walk around and stuff. Its a comic book and a Deadpool one none the less so it really shouldn't be taken seriously.

No, no. The adamantium actually -slows down- his healing factor, because it's constantly pushed into overdrive every second of every day, trying to repel the metalic, alien substance from his body. Added to the fact that it's slightly radioactive (Due to all the events of his life, including though not limited to watching the bomb drop on Nagasaki), his healing factor is always busy.
Without the metal in him, his healing factor can go back to being overpowered properly.
