#124 - anon (12/02/2012) [-]
it's the third book in the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series, a.k.a Game of Thrones. The next two seasons of the show is based on A Storm of Swords.

The two first book might not be as amusing as expected if you've already seen the tv-series, but dont give up for that reason. It will be worth it.

Oh yeah, the show definitely is very good and unlike a lot of TV adaptions it is very similar to the book (except they make the children all a bit older), but I was more recommending that this guy reads the books before watching the show.
And sorry, no.

Its a series of novellas (3 so far) that are set like 20 years before the start of the main books.

If you like 'A Song of Ice and Fire', you're gonna like them

Storm of Swords is the best read ive ever had. My version is split in to parts though. The whole book is just pure greatness.

I recommend everyone to read the books, even though the show is pretty good, it doesnt beat the books.
