Its not leaving stuff out that makes me mad, its adding stuff. I like it for the most part too but the Podrick stuff pisses me off to no end. He was a minor character in the books, only known for saving Tyrion. However since nothing turns the directors on more than worshiping Tyrion they've gone so far as to make sure that any minor character who helps him instantly becomes someone.

Be prepared for re-writes in which Ser Vardis becomes a white-walker, the entire Vale collapses and anyone else who has ever wronged Tyrion is killed while he becomes King and Daenry's sucks him off.

While Tyrion is obviously GRRM's favorite character he never made it as blatant as they are in the show.

You know that GRRM is a co writer on the show right? He approves every script before it gets aired.
