Oh boy call me a virgin. I guess that's what it comes down to. "we did nothing wrong" and name calling when you can't take the truth. Ignorant cunts.

Actually, there is a legitimate medical reason for it now. Skin cells can be used to create artificial stem cells for organ regeneration, and the largest clump of unused skin is in the foreskin of the penis. So, while it may cause minor and non-medically critical problems later, when you get cancer in, say, your lungs and desperately need a replacement then the skin taken from circumcision (enough to cover more than a football field) is what medicine will use to grow your new organs.
So yes, while it may suck to possibly and debateably lose a bit of sensitivity in your penis, you lose a lot more sensitivity when you're dead because you couldn't get a replacement organ.

That's trade off is fine, but stem cell research is still in its infancy, and we will be sure to find better ways to produce it, I'm thinking engineering some sort of organ clump made out of human cells that produces stem cells that can be harvested. or something. I plan to invest in its' development eventually. The commercial applications would be limitless. It could singlehandedly ruin the pharmaceutical industry. And it would be for the best.

>In it's infancy
While you're correct, in its infancy includes things like us growing a new trachea for a women who had throat cancer, or the fact that we actually know how to grow hearts, lungs, and livers now, and actually already grow lungs in labs. The technology is not 5 years away, it's not 10 years away, it's here right now. We already can do it, but the constraints on research are so tight that these techniques simply are not commonly available yet.

As someone suffering from chronic pain and illnesses that indeed sounds amazing, but none of it helps me. I'm glad it available to others, to grow new stuff for them, but there is no cure-all for me, no injection of superior stem cells to repair my body. Anything that does exist I can't afford. So yes, it's still in it's infancy, and it can't fix everything.
Trust me I know. It's why I want to invest in it and help it grow.
