anon (01/12/2016) [-] But you're not right. You're still wrong. Try telling this to anyone else. I already did (as you so neatly suggested). No one is going to side with you on whether or not to comment is a stance or not. It clearly is. Everything you choose to do is based upon your own personal stance. Whether or not to comment. What you like to eat. Your belief on fetish control. Insulting my age (even if you happen to be dead wrong) and blocking me (to which I did retaliate) is not going to make you less wrong. #283 -

anon (01/12/2016) [-] Lets try this one last time to see if you can get it through your head. Odds are you're going to make up another abstract argument to avoid being wrong stance - noun - "the attitude of a person or organization toward something" Your stance is that you think he is stupid for blocking people he disagrees with. This is your attitude towards him. Your stance is NOT "I am going to comment and tell him he is stupid." An attitude is not an action. Your attitude towards him does not inherently mean you must comment. These are two completely unrelated topics. You said your "stance" is to comment. An attitude cannot be an action so you are wrong. It is quite literally this simple. Your idea that your attitude is you are going to comment is an impossible one, an attitude cannot and will never be an action. An opinion is not a verb. It is not your opinion to comment. It is your decision and action to comment. But by all means feel free to continue arguing that your attitude is that you are going to comment. You argue an impossible concept #280 -
anon (01/12/2016) [-] "reasonable comment ridiculous" If you honestly believe this you have the reasoning of a child. "Its my opinion whether or not I comment!" Your opinion is your opinion. Your commenting is you acting on that opinion. A) Do you say i want a glass of water or B) Do you say Its my opinion to decide that I want a glass of water. 99% of the world would choose option A, you and you alone choose option B because you refuse to back down from your incorrect use of a word. This is classic FJ though, say something completely wrong and when proven wrong make up a abstract and ridiculous argument rather than just say "Ok you're right" I also like how you block me after freaking out about it you sad hypocritical child Go read that sentence aloud to the nearest person and they will smack you for me as I cannot do it through the internet #393 -

| But, me telling him he is an idiot for doing something doesn't mean I'm "forcing him" to do anything. He's supposed to be a rational adult. The same should apply to anything anyone could tell him. Sure harassment is nasty but just getting rid of dissonant opinion is ridiculous. You're certainly not going to change my stance on the matter, no one's forcing him to do anything, it's just clearly inane. I'm not trying to change your stance, I'm trying to get you to see it is pointless to care that people block people they disagree with. Nothing is accomplished by telling them its stupid. Not to mention you honestly shouldn't care that a stranger you've never met blocks people they disagree with online. But if it makes you happy to be concerned for peoples well being you do you. Its your time if you want to spend it telling people theyre stupid have at it #347 -

| Even if it doesn't effect him badly (which it most certainly does) we live in a world where people can combine to achieve great things. If everyone willingly separates themselves then nothing will ever be achieved. I feel that this effects me to a great degree. I want a world of free-thinkers and discussion. Not one of closed-minded hugboxes. So you want to force your views on him... now do you see why I have a problem with this idea? And that individual doesn't want to.
