I understand that people feel like a derogatory term, but how exactly? There's nothing really offensive about it at face value. Its just the shortening of a word. Like fridge, condo, PS2. That's not really a bad thing, or something to be offended about. Sandnigger or something around those lines would be offensive, at least to me.
