To be fair, a lot of the comments are me, and some people are saying they aren't trying to win it. The thumb is all that matters to get Skyrim, comments are just for a consolation prize.

I'm glad I could help. Let the ''grieving'' process run its course, it's normal and expected to feel frustrated/saddened/betrayed and not find as much pleasure in things you usually do, for a while.
Let me drop some neurochemical knowledge on your mending soul; being in love makes your dopamine levels soar. Dopamine is a substance in your brain that ellicits happiness and is heavily involved in addiction processes (from a neurochemical point of view, love could be seen as much an addiction as an actual drug). Once the relationship ends, any reminder of your old partner will make your brain release dopamine, but another part of your brain will say ''tsk-tsk, that's unfortunately over, you won't have that again''. In a cascade of events, this ''tsk-tsk'' is what gives feelings of sadness and anger, as well as throwing off your pleasure center.
Back to what I was saying in my last comment, studies have found that with time, this cascade of events gradually calmed down, resulting in less negative feelings. The way I'm dealing with the girl that left me, I'm seeing this down period as a flu. You know how when you have the flu, you think ''there's not a lot I can about this, it's annoying as fuck but I know it's gonna pass.'' You can't rush it.

I see the guys below saying you're better off and that there are many others for you, although they are right I know that unfortunately your mind doesn't seem to care for those facts when you're freshly single, you don't want others nor to be better off, you want the same person. A few days ago I was basically left via text messaging, and only time has made it a bit better (it's gonna take more than 3 days to pass lol). My friends tried to comfort me but ultimately it's just time, venting out (if you want to vent to a stranger let me know, I'm a good listener) and doing something you like (re-watch your favorite show, watch documentaries on youtube, etc)
User avatar #92 - moneysam (02/15/2015) [-]
Thanks for being real, that helps significantly to think about it that way. I think that's some really sound advice and an attitude like that lifts my spirits.

Don't worry mate, she was just probably looking for an excuse to break the relationship up. Trust me, there are more than 7 billion people in the world. Statistically there are thousands of others that are made for you

Eh, the almost perfect perk isnt too bad. Isnt it the only way to get your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats all to ten?
User avatar #116 - ZalgotheImminent (08/26/2014) [-]
Yeah, but that means waiting to get the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. bobbleheads which could be more useful earlier in the game for qualifying for different perks you may want.
User avatar #30 - TwoHalves (08/26/2014) [-]
Do NOT get the Bloody Mess perk. It's fun at first, but after a while you'll get annoyed with all the bits of enemy that get scattered everywhere. Especially annoying when you're trying to loot a mob of enemies you just ran through a fucking blender.

fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Terrible_Shotgun

This is one of the best weapons in the game damage wise... it is a bit of a tough fight going in as its guarded by a lot of Raiders and a super mutant behemoth... But it is really powerful and one of my personal favorite weapons.

Pic related.... the weapon is located in Evergreen Mills and is held by a merchant named Smiling Jack...
User avatar #16 - ZalgotheImminent (08/25/2014) [-]
Get a dart gun as soon as you can.
Good Karma is generally more profitable than Bad Karma
Almost Perfect perk is a waste, don't get it.
Start to get a taste for '30s/'40s/'50s music.
Enclave is asshats.
Neither side of Tenpenny Tower is the good guys.
Dogmeat and Fawkes are the most broken companions. Love them with all your heart.
Don't go to the Dunwich Building unless you absolutely have to. If you do have to, get in, get out, and be done with it.
User avatar #102 - thinemother (08/26/2014) [-]
I always thought the ghouls were the better side, but I managed to let them all live together.
#111 - Absolute Madman (08/26/2014) [-]
Oh really? I think you should pay another visit to the tower and see how things are going.

Just remember, with the ghoul mask nothing can slap your shit in the dunwich building
#46 - newall (08/26/2014) [-]
oh god the dunwich building.

Fucking awsome but fuuuuuuuuck that.
User avatar #32 - capnfappy (08/26/2014) [-]
I don't think I ever found the Dunwich Building when I played Fallout 3. How bad of a place is it?
User avatar #33 - ZalgotheImminent (08/26/2014) [-]
Not difficult, but definitely creepy. Atmosphere in that place is frightening enough, but then toss in random whispering, a shitload of feral ghouls, and a statue to some Lovecraftian god in the basement, and now you've got something that implies something worse than the apocalypse could be just around the bend.
User avatar #91 - angelious (08/26/2014) [-]
i dont really get why you guys found it scary....the only thing difficult about the whole thing were those reavers :/ and that out of place flashback managed to spook me a little since i was expecting shit to hit the fan...
User avatar #34 - capnfappy (08/26/2014) [-]
Ah I see, that feeling that some bad shit could go down any second.
User avatar #35 - ZalgotheImminent (08/26/2014) [-]
Yep. Good ol' looming feeling of dread.
