He is one of the most talented people in the world man.
I think he is on his way to become the next Max Martin. Along with Diplo he is one of the best producers in the world. He is going to make less and less of his own music, and start to produce more for others.

I promise you. You will hear his tracks on the radio nonstop in the future.

No... He's really not... He has no understanding for recording, barely sampling and mashing it up. He's a one trick pony and that trick is used up

I joined one because it was a good way to meet people, I enjoy my fraternity life, its a bunch of like-minded dudes hanging out and throwing parties. I'll legit have 5 brothers over at my house watching anime or smoking hookah, etc.

There's a much bigger chance (not much, but it exists) to injure yourself using contacts than glasses, on another note.

Contacts don't work for severely crossed eyes from what I understand when I tale my glasses of I can see normally, until my eyes end up fucking up after a few seconds unless I focus really hard

Does rain affect them at all?
I really want to get contacts but I have no idea how they work
#34 - Mutador (10/30/2015) [-]
There are 3 types of contacts. Those that are changed daily(single use), monthly every 2 years. The ones changed every 2 years are basically only for people with keratoconus ( uneven eye surface, the rigid lens pulls a vacuum and corrects the unevenness). The rigid 2 year ones hurt a lot for the first couple of days and they can be a bit uncomfortable at times. I haven't used the daily ones, but I imagine that they're similar to the monthly ones, which I have used. Rain doesn't affect contacts. The great thing about contacts is that every time you blink, you clean them. Using contacts can be a hassle at times, and it might take a bit getting used to, but it's no problem at all. I have been using contacts daily for years now, but then again, I don't have a choice. I have keratoconus and that ailment cannot be fixed with glasses. someone here commented that they keep theirs in for 2 months.... that's not really the idea... You're supposed to take them out every evening and put them in every morning. You let them sit in a cleaning solution overnight, so they're clean every day, let your eyes breathe. The monthly ones that I used were very comfortable. They're big and sit very well, so there's no chance of them falling out like in the movies. Also, never use saliva to clean them before putting them in the eye (as they do in the movies). There's some bad stuff about contacts too, especially for the RPG 2 year ones. When dust goes in your eye the dust can go under the lens and that hurts like a needle in your eye, but the soft monthly ones are very big, and I have never gotten anything under them. If you have any questions concerning the use of contacts, then feel free to ask me. I have been using them for years.

Makes me feel a bit more comfortable about contacts since I was always afraid of putting them on, rubbing your eyes is a no with contacts on right?
#42 - Mutador (10/30/2015) [-]
Well, as for rubbing your eyes I'd say no. Especially if you have the rigid ones as they can damage your eye if you rub your eyes. The important thing to note is that the soft lens are very soft and they cannot damage your eye. It really depends on what you define as rubbing your eyes, you can certainly softly massage your eyeballs, even with the rigid contacts, but you can't push your eyes halfway into the skull and rub them .

I started off with the rigid lens, and putting them in the first time hurt like a getting a tattoo on your eyeball... but your eye gets used to that very fast (in my opinon) and after a week I couldnt even feel them on my eyes. I suspect that soft lens dont hurt at all, or at fist they hurt only a little, because your eye is not used to them. As a matter of fact, your eye becomes less sensitive overall.

Putting the lens in is nothing to be afraid of. Again, the only bad part is the beginning when it might hurt... But after that it's not a problem at all. Putting them in doesn't hurt, having them in doesn't hurt, and taking them out doesn't hurt. As a matter of fact, your eye gets a protective surface and you can poke your eye where the lens is and it wouldn't hurt at all... Not that it's something you'd have to do, it's just a thing that I noticed.

I know telling you about how it might hurt at first isn't a very good way to convince someone to use contacts, but I think it's better to tell the truth about it . Besides, you wouldn't be getting the rigid lens and the soft ones don't hurt or don't hurt as much (I have no experience with that, so you'll have to google it or ask your optician.

If I haven't scared you off, then I recommend getting the single use ones at first, because they're thinner and softer and maybe even cheaper. You can use them to try them and if you like it, then you can try the monthly ones.

I'm not very good at making people feel comfortable if you have any more specific questions or if there's something specific about contacts that makes you cringe, then feel free to ask...again

I started off with soft lens and I don't remember it hurting at all. Pretty much the biggest issue I've ever had was instances where something got under the lens and I wasn't in a place where I could take it out and put it in the solution, or one instance whrre I was concentrating on something really hard and it ended up falling out. Overall they're really convenient. I've never used glasses and I pretty much live the same way I did before I got the contacts (some of my friends might not even know that I wear them).

My eyes are proportionally tiny to my face, so the glasses make them look bigger and actually appropriate size, glasses just look better on me, but that's still not saying much.

some of us can't have contacts... they're too expensive over the long term, or other ocular problems don't support their use...
#105 - edgenotedgy (10/30/2015) [-]
I can't use contacts because i have some kind of hypersensitivity in my eyes to both touch and light (I have some cracks in my iris that allow more light to come in than it's supposed to). If all goes well, I'm getting lasik surgery in a few months though.
#35 - Mutador (10/30/2015) [-]
Yes, they is expensive, but thankfully here in finland, I got my RGP contacts for free, since I have keratoconus, which can only be fixed with contacts... But yes, cleaning solution and having to get new ones, makes them more expensive.

I am on the spectrum and I'm not quite this bad and would understand something like this and that it's inappropriate to say, but I know some people who probably would go this far without actually realising anything was wrong until before they said it.

I am, however, still pretty fuckin' bad. Like I have said some incredibly offensive shit in a similar vein to this in the past without realising how fucking utterly retarded I was being until the damage was done.
User avatar
#40 - ILIEKPEPSEE (10/26/2015) [-]
One of the possible symptoms of Autism Spectrum disorders (assburgers, etc) is a hindered or complete lack of ability to take, give, or understand social cues. If someone has a lack of socialization in their developmental years, they could easily have no idea that saying stuff like the post above is such a grievously retarded remark.

I.E. Yes, one can possibly be THIS austistic.

#17 - fiveblackmen (10/22/2015) [-]
You realize that it only becomes unsustainable if there is a sudden and massive decrease in population. As long as the population stays the same or grows and social security grows at the same rate as or slower than inflation, it will continue to be viable. The bigger problem we have in this country is all the money we spend/give to other countries for their defense. I'm of the opinion that if they don't want to defend themselves they should be paying us for our support or be left to fend for themselves.
#25 - lostabyss (10/22/2015) [-]
so like a large illegal pyramid scheme? oh right its not illegal if the government does it
User avatar
#51 - fiveblackmen (10/23/2015) [-]
Do me a favor and look up "pyramid scheme". I think the phrase you may have been looking for is Ponzi scheme, which fits a bit better but not really because it will begin to pay out when you reach retirement age. If you wanted to poke holes in the concept of social security, you probably should have pointed out the fact that they keep increasing the retirement age required to collect full benefits. It makes sense that they would increase it as people are living longer than they used to but they fail to realize that the age at which people stop being effective workers doesn't seem to have increased at the same rate as the average lifespan. It certainly isn't a perfect system but it is better than having no system, especially for lower and middle class households.
#54 - lostabyss (10/26/2015) [-]
how is it better than no system? why cant people take responsibility for themselves rather than having the gov take out of their pocket and hold it for them like a bunch of irresponsible children?
User avatar
#55 - fiveblackmen (10/26/2015) [-]
Because people are a bunch of irresponsible children. A majority of them would spend every dollar they make and then complain when it comes time to retire because they have no money. That is why social security was created in the first place. People were ending up homeless when they couldn't work anymore because they had no savings.
#11 - anon (10/22/2015) [-]
Or the fact we've been borrowing from it, that might be a bit more concerning
