well I'm sorry if i hurt you but that's just the sort of person i am.
I feel like i've already had my fun with dating and now just want to focus on doing stuff to please myself.

I'm not really depressed or feel the desire to find "the one" I simply want to spend the rest of my days doing fun things like travelling, trying new types of food, playing video games, getting piss drunk, going skying diving, or playing with kangaroos.

I want to enjoy my life doing things that i want and not things that people think i should be doing(getting a wife/girlfriend then spending my life building a stable life around her)

I just wanna experience freedom and do things for me.

Although when the kid is a teenager/early adult, it'll experience the death of one of its best childhood friends. Reality is cruel as hell.

As long as the children are told about the dog getting old and dying before it actually happens.

I grew up with a Black Labrador. He was my best buddy in the whole world.
We knew he was getting old, and that he would die soon when I was 14. My family had him since I was 1. I knew what death was about and all that. I'd lost a grand parent, as well as a teacher.
One day while everyone was at school, my mother took the dog to the vet to be put down. He couldn't control his bowels anymore, and had seizures.
My mother didn't tell anyone she was going to have the dog put down. She just did it.

Worst day of my life till that point. No warning, no goodbye, just... came home to no dog after a shitty day at school.

I held a grudge against my mother for years because I never got to say goodbye to my pet that had been with me for literally as long as I could remember.
