Oooh, i see now. What I was wondering is like what to do in those middle numbers. Imagine that you have to be over 15 to success. But what about 16, 17, 18 or 19 ? Well, as jiacomo told me, imagination plays a big role here I guess haha
Yeah, so if someone's trying to like jump over something and the target is 15, and the player rolls 16, then the dungeon master might say that they were just barely able to clear the object, with their feet almost clipping the top. But if it's a 19, they might say they cleared it with seemingly no effort. At that point it's just the dungeon master describing how well they did what they were trying to do. They might even disregard how close they were to the target and just describe it in a way that adds tension to the scene or something. Ultimately it's usually just a pass/fail thing where the dungeon master can add some kind of flair if they want.

Playing By The Same Rules
You have got to be shitting me. They can't just give away someone else's private information, much less sell it. How did this even get passed?
They totally can, now. It's all in the interest of deregulation and giving companies more power. Somehow this is supposed to increase competition. Whatever the hell that vague bullshit means.
But there's no names or personal information attached. This info is gathered and sold in aggregate. That's the other way they get away with it. By saying it doesn't

oh thanks, i wonder if a shotgun fire all kind of it, that be awesome
Yes, especially a smooth bore shotgun with no choke will take almost all types. Bird shot, 00 buckshot, slugs, home defence loads, beanbags, rocksalt, flachette, to even dragonsbreath rounds.
what is the difference in each of the new one you said?
Birdshot- a handful of small pellets. Can vary in size but very small
Buckshot-pearl size pellets. Usually only like 15 pellets
Slug- one bullet, usually rifled.
Home defence- can differ but usually 3 disks and 5 or so buckshot packed around it. Designed for high stopping power but low penetration so that walls will stop it.
Beanbags- loaded with a beanbag. Non-lethal. Riot police use this alot.
Rocksalt- non-lethal to less-lethal. Literally filled with rocksalt.
Flachette- filled with a bundle of flachette that are essentially darts. Low penetration but high damage. Designed for lots of ripping damage.
Dragonsbreath- magnesium pellets. When fired produces a 30 ft cone of fire. Highly recommend youtubing it. Very cool to watch
Thank you i learn something today.
No problem! Youtubing "exotic shotgun ammo" can be a very entertaining rabbit hole to go down. Ha. Enjoy!
- I think I recall something about that being intentional in places.

Curious how linguistic needs are frightfully universal in terms of functions and form.
Yeah, that sounds right.
