Yeah. I did expect much more from her than she gave. And she kept telling you that she could give you info on enemies and stuff, but everytime I asked her for info on them, she was always "I don't have enough information." Pissed me off. If I got stuck, i had to go ALL the way back to the sky and find that Sheika stone.

I was never able to finish Majora's Mask. My brother pawned my shit before I could finish the game, and I never got it back. As for Vaati, he is an AWESOME villain. He's also adorable, and I liked every single boss level of beating him. His forms were all really cool, and I also really liked the time limit you had while trying to reach him. Made it more chellenging. The first time I played, I kind of took my time because I was all "nah. The game won't let me run out of time." that last bell chimed and Zelda died... I was heartbroken at my failure. Also, the Piccori were cool. I liked the idea of them, and their little feathers. they're so chill, except for your hat, which I also really liked. I like how in both Minish Cap and Skyward Sword, objects that pretty much make Link who he is, are given a character all their own.

You should play Majora's Mask sometime. The entire concept of utilizing the masks and their personas is just fascinating.
I don't know why it took me so long to beat Vaati. He himself wasn't really an issue, but three dark nuts at once is apparently so much harder for me. (And who decided that was a good name for an enemy?)
As far as sidekicks go, Ezlo is one of my favorites. Midna is the best by far, and definitely the most fleshed out character. They both had majors roles in the plot. Fi, though. Fucking Fi. Maybe my hopes for her were just way too high, but I was so disappointed. She can give you all kinds of numbers and facts and technical help, but..._ she is the skyward sword_. The game is named after her. She has no personality whatsoever. Maybe a tad bit at the end, but she doesn't really understand emotions. A few things can be implied about her character, maybe. I was so let down.

Well, I really like the idea of the game. Turning small, and that produces a challenge that I enjoyed a lot (I like how the Zelda games present puzzles and challenges) I also like it a lot for having a winter level (sort of. it was also kind of a water level) but the only other game i can think of currently having a winter level was Twilight Princess, and I liked the winter levels. As for ranking I think it ranks a little above Twilight Princess (which I really liked) and below Ocarina of time, (which i REALLY liked) It was one of the first games I played actually (directly after Ocarina), becuase I got my gameboy before I got any other systems (I played Ocarina at a friend's), so it holds a lot of nostalgia for me.

I'd give it a 9/10.

Winter levels are the best! There's also one in Majora's Mask.

I'm pretty much in the same boat. Minish cap is my second favorite, because nothing can ever beat OoT, and for pretty much the same reasons. All those things included, I love Vaati. He's a villain with a backstory and a wonderful personality. I really want to see him in another game. He's technically been in two, but Four Swords shouldn't count.

yeah, it's kind of the same with Zelda in Windwaker. Before she knew she was Princess Zelda, I really liked her, and then suddnely BAM! She's a princess and a completely different person. I forgot about Sheik tho. The same story with her. I like it when zelda's strong and can do shit for herself. That's the only reason I liked her in Twilight Princess.
User avatar #290 - minishcap (11/28/2012) [-]
I think Skyward Sword was when she was most useful. (Or at least putting forth a constant effort.)

You know, aside from the whole "I think I'll just push Link off the island" thing.
