If you're just hating vegans because they're vegans, yeah, you'd be arrogant.

But if you only despise vegans because of actions like producing bullshit claims to support some no-chance cause, you'd have a lot of fair reason then.

If they wanted to handle their cause of stopping animal murder, they should do so legitimately, instead of producing studies lined with fallacious statements and faulted research, otherwise it isn't a cause at all.
