might start again soon, school has just got me down recently, haven't really felt like talking.

Well perhaps you could talk about how school has been getting you down, not everything is sunshine and rainbows, and we have certainly seen some crazy shit, so feel free to say what you like...........

I have been trying harder as of recent, but I fear it may be a case of too little, too late.

Well you still got a few more months left, so unless you're sporting something like a 20% average, it shouldn't be the hardest thing to catch up if you remain consistent. Try to get into a "work" mode, meaning get into a mood where you can keep being productive for prolonged periods of time...........

well that's the thing.

I try not to think negatively about anything. negative thoughts lead to negative actions.

sure, sometimes things get me down, or angry. but I never act upon those emotions.

I overcome them, I persevere, and I carry on.

It's not nessisarily about negetive actions, it's about negetive unrealistic thoughts, that people make things much worse then they really are, leading to suicidal thoughts. It makes me feel bad really, because they ether believe that nothing can ever get better (which is completely false), or they just don't care :I

The thing that a lot of people fail to realize is that It is always darkest before the dawn.

Life has to have its low moments, it is how life works, but there are also high moments that complement these lows.

If things have gone as bad as can be, things can only get better from there.

Precisely, but as said, people believe it won't ever get better. Ether that, or they are too depressed to wait that long. It really sucks when you have to see a good friend make a post like "I wanna die" or "I tried to suicide". I sorta wish I knew how to help people like that more, in reality, it takes time and pacience to help someone with depression, simply telling them the truth isn't good enough. Although, I have a theory and a good feeling that if you get them to at least awknowlege the truth that things can easily get better and that is what they should live for is to see that day, then there is always a chance that they will use that information to better themselves. Sorta like "planting a seed" I suppose..........

like optimists vs pessimists.

but even with that, suicide in itself is a terrible choice.

throwing your life away because things are bad now, and giving up all the good things that come later is never a good option.

I try to share my perspectives with others, especially people who are downtrodden.

because like you said, if you can plant that one seed of hope into a person, they may blossom, and be happy once again.

But that's just the thing, it isn't a matter of perspective. I look at things very realistically, and I can say for sure that things can certainly get better in the future, no matter how you see things. That's where I tend to make my point to these people, is the fact that I am not looking at things in an overly optimistic way, I am looking at it pretty accurately.

And yea, when you don't have the time/pacience to constantly help a person step by step, you can at least give them a better chance and solving things in the long run..........

You know, I was kinda like everyone else when I just used Phoenix Wright as a persona, but as a grew better and more adapt to Funnyjunk, Godot just seemed to fit me personally, except better. Thus I started using him as my main persona. But yea, it is pretty cool seeing people who posts AA every now and then...........

I admired Gant mainly for his break. It was one of the ones that I remember most.
Plus, when I thought about it, I realized that it impacted me a bit. That even when he was taken down, he was taken down fighting and laughing.

You see, there is this one place called "Ponyville", it's a thread that has a long history, but it is still somewhat not very known. Basically, it is like the friendly board, but it is slightly slower, much more protected from any sort of filth, and everybody is typically very close with each other, it's like a family. I think you should consider joining, just message a user named "lunargreen/house" without the "/" and tell him I sent you. I think you'll like it there, and perhaps go online more often.............

Pretty good pretty good, I'm attending college now, though at the moment I'm home on Christmas break.
Christmas seems to just sneak up on me these days, not as excited about it as I used to be.
