Of course nobody would say "I'm proud to be 5'11". Even girls are that tall. Manlet. I, however, am proud to be 6'4". And seriously, height isn't all genetics either. If you're not eating enough, if you die etc., you won't reach that height. And if you do hormones, you may reach further than your "genetical limit". It's fucking stupid to use height as an argument, imo. "I'm proud to be strong". "Well, hurr, even tho you lift 3 hours a day, genetics play a role, so you're not allowed to be proud." You see what I'm getting at?

But your username denotes national pride in Mexico.
Or are you just referring to your country as an observation?

No, I made that internet alias when I was twelve years old because I had a thing for porn with latina chicks in it.

Some people feel insecure when they aren't in a group that commonly identifies as victims or have a strong sense of unity that 'pride' grants them. Sometimes, there's no changing their minds.

I actually hear that many women like wearing the Burka, and I for one find it very attractive
User avatar #13 - chickenspwn (08/30/2013) [-]

User avatar #14 - captainfuckitall (08/30/2013) [-]
That's a Hijab, not a Burka, a Burka is the hood they wrap around their heads. You can still find accessories attractive though, either way
User avatar #34 - konradkurze (08/30/2013) [-]
maybe he likes getting it on with women when he cant see their faces

perhaps to him a burka is better than a paper bag over their heads

What captainfuckitall said.
I do find hijabs attractive myself too though.
#19 - giggleassasin (08/30/2013) [-]
You got that mixed up there, the hijab is the head wrap, and a burka is a full body cloak

Whatever the cause may be, they fought for what they believed in and that takes courage. So hate the commanders who gave the orders, not the soldiers that executed them because if they refused their families and themselves would pay the price.

Respect to all the soldiers fighting for a cause.
User avatar #803 - mexicoman (08/23/2013) [-]
I don't agree with that at all. They tried using that excuse at Nuremberg and they were executed. But it was that culture of intimidation that kept people from sabotage and speaking out that allowed all those people to be murdered, I don't think that those who succumbed to it are blameless. The Nazi's were motivated by hate, and the germans who followed them were motivated by fear. If John Boehner put himself up as the fuhrer of the United States with absolute power, he would have been murdered immediately. I have a great grandfather who was conscripted into the SS, and his mother helped shelter a jewish family temporarily. The only one out of those two who deserves any respect for their trouble was his mother. I pity my grandfather, it can't have been easy being a part of something like that. But if I knew that America did half of what the Nazi's were doing to people I would be captured and defect as soon as conceivably possible. I don't hate the people who were involuntarily conscripted into the SS, but it was wrong to put them up on the same level as soldiers in the United States military then and now.

User avatar #737 - mexicoman (08/23/2013) [-]
I guess. Its kind of iffy to me though. Their plight is kind of negated by what the Nazi's were all about to me. American soldiers aren't fighting for hate, and it just seems odd to put Nazi's next to them just because all soldiers share tragedy in war. I understand that a lot of them were forced into it, but that makes me more inclined to pity them than to revere their sacrifices.
